For those who are looking for minimal effort but want to have the opportunity to earn some sponsored brand work, focusing just on a platform like Instagram may be ideal. That being said, if something happens to the platform (or to your account), you may find yourself completely out of luck. You will also find yourself completely limited to brand work on that platform, which may be less than what some brands are looking for. For a longer term solution, diversifying with multiple channels (for example, a blog and social media accounts) may be the better option for you.
