Uptown Oracle Reads… The Hierarchies | Thought-Provoking Story About a Sex Robot Achieving Sentience
Overall I found The Hierarchies to be a thought-provoking, but definitely had themes which some people may struggle to read about. I found the overall story to be gripping and you want to know what will happen to Sylv.ie next, although the pace can be very slow at times.

Bear Head is a book I went in with not much info and about a quarter of the way in I wanted to know everything about this sci-fi Earth and Mars. Our main characters are mostly on Mars and within a completed bio-engineered human body which can half-live on an area of Mars due to “upgrades”.

I wanted to reach Seven Devils for a couple of different reasons. Firstly, I loved Elizabeth May’s The Falconer and wanted to see what her writing sci-fi was like. I’ve not read any of Laura Lam’s work before, but I’m still excited to see what the two writer set up was like. Then I was genuinely interested by the beautiful cover and the blurb.
