Apps for Self Care

When I got my new phone I got to take some time to go through the apps I’d previously downloaded, and pick which ones I use most and should get on my new phone. One of the main things I focused on was which apps helped me to lead a better life, and to look after myself better. So here’s my the top five ways I use my phone for self-care!

Drink More Water Reminder

iOS | Android

I personally use Samsung Health which has a water counter built into the app. But if you want an app to remind you to drink more water and to track how much water you’re drinking then there’s plenty of choice. Keeping yourself properly hydrated is super important and some days you just forget, so your phone is to the rescue at reminding you.

Sleeping Habits

iOS | Android

Your sleeping habits are extremely important to your health. So keep track of your sleep with a sleep tracker. With this one you can also keep track of your moods, caffeine and alcohol consumption and whether you had a good or bad nights sleep.

  • I really like how there are apps to remind you about self-care now. I haven't heard of these but need to check a couple of these out. I like the idea of happify. It's pretty neat that Sleeping Habits also keeps track of other factors that can affect your sleep. Thanks for sharing!
